SAKONNET NEW WEBSITE STRESSES COMPANY’S SERVICE APPROACH

New York, November 9, 2005 - Sakonnet Technology, the world’s leading provider of subscription-based energy trading and risk management software, today announced the launch of its new website at www.sknt.com. The new site is designed and written to reflect the dynamic nature of the company, the continuing advances in its application, Xenon®, and its growing success within the ETRM software field.

The site profiles Sakonnet’s unique service offerings, including hosting and remote real-time support, Xenon’s functionality and technical aspects, and Sakonnet’s technology partner program. It will also provide information on new activities and upgrades to Xenon through its frequently updated “news plus” section.

Sakonnet, which has recently grown to 75 staff in London, New York and Rio de Janeiro, has more than five years’ experience of providing subscription based energy trading and risk management software services.

Sakonnet’s corporate clients, which include E.ON Energie and Nuon, benefit from its low-risk licensing model because they avoid the capital costs and risks of conventional upfront fees and later delivery of customized software. Instead, they pay an ‘all-in’ quarterly fee under multi-year Xenon subscription and service agreements. Xenon’s architecture and single source code base allow these clients to obtain substantive new functionality on a frequent, zero-administration basis.

The new site was created in conjunction with New York-based design company, Cullinane, and London-based public relations company, SPARX Communications.
